New Roads
Aftercare Supports at New Roads
In our aftercare programs we begin supporting residents prior to leaving the program as well as after discharge. The Continuing Care Coordinators at New Roads begin working with residents in the 3rd phase of the program as they begin to access the larger community. These supports include accessing housing, employment, clinical care, educational opportunities, social and recovery supports. At New Roads we have a vibrant and growing Alumni Community, which supports our philosophy that the idea of “community” continues after residents leave our program. We encourage Alumni to stay connected and support one another.
New Roads Program is part of the larger organization of Our Place Society (OPS), and because of this we can access many other OPS programs to support the residents we serve.
Residents who graduate the New Roads Men’s Program, may be eligible for our 2nd Stage Recovery program at Jaymac Place. Jaymac which offers graduates of the New Roads Men’s Program continued housing and supports within the community. This program is also supported by New Roads staff and is structured in a similar way using the Therapeutic Community Model.
