Aftercare Supports at New Roads

In our aftercare program we begin supporting men prior to leaving the program as well as after discharge. The Continuing Care Coordinator at New Roads begins working with men in the 3rd phase of the program when men start to access the larger community. These supports include accessing housing, employment, clinical care, educational opportunities, social and recovery supports. At New Roads we have a vibrant and growing Alumni Community, which supports our philosophy that the idea of “community” continues after men leave our program. We encourage Alumni to stay connected and support one another.

New Roads Program is part of the larger organization of Our Place Society (OPS), and because of this we can access many other OPS programs to support the men we serve.

For men who graduate the New Roads Program, they may be eligible for our 2nd Stage Recovery program at Jaymac Place. Jaymac offers graduates of the New Roads Program continued housing and supports within the community. This program is also supported by New Roads staff and is structured in a similar way using the Therapeutic Community Model.
